This is a good, general purpose 24V power supply. But just make sure you are aware that it is an AC (alternating current) power supply. It is NOT a DC (direct current) power supply. You do not want to mix them up or you could do damage to your equipment. It can only be used with compatible equipment. The only way to know is to look at your device and make sure it specifies 24VAC and not 24VDC. It is that simple.

It is a powerful 1000ma (1 amp) transformer and is suitable for many things including, but not limited to, most door bell circuits, including video doorbells, which is what I am using it for.
